PEGI EYERS
Inspired by the art workshops I facilitated for children during my contracts with the Art Gallery of Peterborough and the Haliburton Arts Council, I created a set of artworks to be used as storytelling prompts. The series Cut Paper Magic was also featured in the exhibition “Art Inspired by Children” at the Akin Gallery in the Kawarthas.

The circus arts, and most especially the excitement and brilliance of the contemporary Cirque de Soleil circus troupe, has been a major inspiration for the vibrant colour and shape-shifting themes in my "Cut Paper Magic" series.
