ORIGINAL ART BY PEGI EYERS
"Ancient Spirit Modern Voice" was a solo exhibition of work by Pegi Eyers, hosted by the Selwyn Public Library during the summer of 2013. This beautiful cultural centre in cottage country overlooks Chemong Lake and the causeway to Ennismore.
The original art of Pegi Eyers reflects themes from the natural world, imaginary realms, mythopoetics, and the enchantment of spiritual traditions. Pegi Eyers works in diverse media including cast paper, assemblage, mixed media, fabric arts, acrylic painting and digital imagery.

When you look at Pegi Eyers' work, you will think about magnificent vistas of soul-scapes,
and dream about the vast realm in which word and art propel us
and pull us into our own clarity, our own visions.
Margot Van Sluytman - Palabras Press
Pegi Eyers creates superb mixed-media art forms in a variety of colours and textures,
demonstrating a passion, enthusiasm and eagerness to share. Her perceptions focus on the
basic human experience of love for the natural world, and the legends of the Ancestors.
Truly a delight to ponder.

Pegi Eyers' devotion to the Divine Feminine is a celebration, and through her art, a sacred act of consecration. The Goddess has surely guided her vision and hand. Looking at the splendid images
she has created makes me feel seriously happy. I know that may sound paradoxical, but when you
see something beautiful that also touches on the profound essentials, it inspires awe and bliss.
Barbara Smith, Celtic Poet, Storyteller - Irish Blessings Tours
Pegi's beautiful work is awe-inspiring - especially the piece she created in response to
my novel "The Church of the Old Mermaids." I am privileged to have a copy of this
amazing art in my hands, and it is even more evocative in person!

I am speechless for the first time in my life! I just went through your online offerings and your
art has blown me away. I knew you had talent but I had no idea how creative and diverse you
can be. So many works in each section struck me, as I went through the various categories.

The highlight of my day was the purchase of your Butterfly art! I love the unique whimsy,
light, texture and colour used by those who dare to dabble where others fear to tread.
You have got the magic! When the creative spark of the artist connects with the fantasy
of the collector, a match is made and the lucky owner has a treasure to enjoy.
