ARTIST STATEMENT
PEGI EYERS
“The art-making process enables me to explore existing mythologies and those of my own making. With my painting and mixed-media creations I celebrate the energy and beauty of the natural world, and express the timeless principles of interconnectivity. I am inspired by earth-emergent traditions that recognize the sacred in all life, and stories that draw close to the Great Mystery. In times of massive change and climate disaster, the creative arts are an essential part of my resilience and direct action.“
