"Celebrating Her!" giclee print & card
My art is a joyful celebration of HER!  The presence of the Goddess in my life has led me to reclaim the sacred iconography of the Divine Feminine, and to express her many forms in paint and mixed media.  It is with great wonder and delight that I discovered my Soul Sisters -  Goddesses from antiquity and myth, from worlds both real and  imagined. My creative vision is to honour women's beauty and strength as leader, mother, priestess, eco-warrior, healer and crone.

I have also discovered that the interior life is the territory of the Goddess.  Her sacred presence connects deeply to the intuitive feminine soul, and is a source of ancient wisdom and creative fire.  I believe that the Goddess is an icon of empowerment for all women, a model for re-sanctifying the body, and a catalyst for earth-based spirituality in today's chaotic times.

I create my art as a healing and devotional practice, with a deep appreciation for the universal symbols and amazing beauty in nature that surrounds us.  As a celebration of Goddesses past, present and future, I offer you these images as an affirmation of the fully-empowered woman.  May we all be aware of our spiritual heritage as the embodiment of the Great Goddess!

"The Great Mother has had many names, but all of her historical forms reveal one ultimate reality.  Archaeology has shown that Neolithic cultures worshiped a female deity, the Creatrix, the Mother of the Gods.  Ancient matriarchies embraced a holistic, body-affirming, earth-centered worldview, and considered all life to be sacred.  The Goddess was everywhere, within every being, and humanity was just another part of nature.  In ancient times, the path of spirit recognized that the cycle of life was based on renewal and regeneration."

"Pegi Eyers' brilliant artwork sings of the power of the feminine soul and body.
A song of protection and procreative power.  A song of abundance."

"Pegi Eyers creates superb mixed-media art forms in a variety of colours and textures,
demonstrating her passion, enthusiasm and eagerness to share her perception of a

basic human experience (love) for the natural world and the legends of the Ancestors.
                                    Truly a delight to ponder."
Linda M. Post, Writer/Editor, Enaajmotaaged Publishing

"Pegi's work both celebrates and raises the consciousness of the Divine Feminine.  It is a much-
needed discourse and contribution to the Mother Earth recovery project which is attempting to
gain currency against the exploitive culture constructed by man who resides one step
'outside' of natural law.  Pegi is an informed deep thinker and genuine in what she does.
I truly enjoy the way she integrates ancient knowledge, symbols, and icons in her work."

or temple!  Your work is truly beautiful and reflects Her in a truly sacred way.   Thank you.

"Pegi's beautiful work is awe-inspiring, especially the piece she created in response to
my novel "Church of the Old Mermaids." I am privileged to have a copy of this amazing
art in my hands and it is even more evocative "in person"!

"Before meeting, we were already connected through your art!  A year ago while in a local
metaphysical book store I was drawn to purchase an art card which as it turns out, was one
of yours!  The image which drew me in and awakened another facet of my ancient DNA was
"Scythian Queen".   It was this image that helped me connect with the cellular memory of the
Ancestors and all the knowledge and experience they possess.  This opening allowed me to
return to source and connect with my Ancestral knowledge.  Thank-you!"

"Pegi's delightful, insightful mixed-media Goddess art forms speak to us of our matriarchal
Ancestors and their myths leading to the return of The Goddess ~ Our Source ~ in our time.
Simplified, this means the return to the "Power of the Feminine" on Earth.  Pegi's works like
"Sisters of the Rainbow", "The Goddess Labyrinth" which takes us to Earth's inner territories,
& "Goddess on a Harley" created with bits of cut paper, fabric & ephemera, delights my heart!
